Sharing my Struggles: It’s Okay to Not Always be Happy

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something important that has been on my mind recently. The past couple of weeks have been incredibly challenging for me.

As some of you may know, I have lost both of my parents, and their absence has left a significant void in my life. However, the recent events of my mom's birthday on June 8th, followed by Father's Day on June 18th, hit me harder than I expected.

To cope with such situations, I have discovered a few strategies over the past couple of years that have been helpful. These include spending time outdoors, connecting with supportive friends, and engaging in longer meditation sessions. They provide some comfort during difficult times.

However, it's essential to acknowledge that grief is not something you simply "get over." It's a complex journey that takes time and can manifest in various ways. It's okay to feel a range of emotions such as sadness, anger, and overwhelm. Our emotions are an integral part of our human experience, and we should never be ashamed of them.

If you find yourself going through a tough time, please remember that you're not alone. Take a moment for yourself, reach out to those who care about you, and most importantly, be kind to yourself. Self-compassion is crucial when navigating challenging emotions.

I wanted to share my struggles with you all because I believe in the power of vulnerability and the strength we can find in sharing our experiences. We're all in this journey together, and sometimes knowing that someone else understands can make all the difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Please remember to take care of yourself and reach out if you need support. You are not alone.

Sending you all my warmest wishes ❤️
